Champagne-Strawberry

strawberries,
frozen
can
be
used
Juice
from
1/2
a
lemon
Garnish:
1/4
cup
Champagne
3
mint
leaves
Sour
cream
sorbet
In
a
saucepan,
bring
water,
sugar,
strawberries
and
lemon
juice
to
a
boil.
Let
simmer
for
ten
minutes.
Blend
mixture
together
in
a
mixer,
then
strain
through
a
sieve.
Set
aside.
Pour
strawberry
soup
in
a
bowl.
Put
1
scoop
of
sorbet
in
the
middle
of
bowl
and
drizzle
with
champagne
and
garnish
with
mint.
Sour
cream
sorbet:
1
tbsp
sugar
1
cup
water
1/2
tbsp
corn
syrup
Juice
from
1
lime
1/2
cup
Sour
cream
In
a
medium
saucepan,
bring
sugar,
water
and
corn
syrup
to
a
boil
over
medium
high
heat.
Let
cool,
then
stir
in
lime
juice
and
sour
cream.
Churn
in
an
ice
cream
maker
until
proper
consistency
is
achieved.
