dried
prunes,
pieces

cup
dried
apricots,
pieces
1
cup
orange
juice
2
tbsp
brown
sugar
2
tbsp
cider
vinegar
1/2
tsp
ground
mace
6
tbsp
flour
Salt
and
pepper
to
taste
3
lb
chicken
pieces
4
tbsp
butter
Combine
the
prunes,
apricots,
orange
juice,
sugar,
vinegar
and
mace
in
a
saucepan
and
cook,
simmering
for
10
minutes.
Remove
from
heat
and
set
aside.
Lightly
flour,
salt,
and
pepper
the
chicken
pieces.
Melt
the
butter
in
a
saute
pan.
Brown
the
chicken
pieces
on
all
sides.
Remove
any
fat
from
the
pan,
lower
the
heat
and
pour
the
dried
fruit
sauce
over
the
chicken.
Cover
and
let
simmer
for
about
20
minutes
or
until
done.
