chopped

garlic,

chopped

apple,
peeled,
cored,
and
finely
chopped

tomatoes,
seeded
and
chopped

to
2
jalapeno
peppers
(to
taste),
seeded
and
finely
chopped
1/4
cup
raisins
1/4
cup
pimiento
stuffed
olives,
chopped
1/2
tsp
dried
oregano
1/4
tsp
cinnamon
Salt
and
freshly
ground
pepper
to
taste
Heat
the
oil
in
a
large
heavy
skillet
over
moderate
heat.
Brown
the
beef,
then
add
the
onions
and
garlic.
Cook
uncovered
for
10
minutes,
until
the
onions
are
tender.
Add
the
remaining
ingredients
and
simmer
uncovered
for
20
minutes.
